Yesssssss! I am SO satisfied on how this turned out! It took me... Uh... Let's see...Five hours and fifty six minutes to do! Total time: 5:56 ...OH and I used PAINT TOOL SAI. :iconmonkeyloveplz:

ACTUALLY, I think it took me longer, cause I started the stream when I was done with the basic guidlines of the head and body... Not even the sketchy-sketch part. Probably like six hours and twenty minutes at the most.... SIX HOURS AGHHH.

BUT ANYWAYS, this is SAM, of course, the greatest pawn in the world from Dragon's Dogma... (I really wonder how his Master would react if he saw that I was doing epic fanart of his pawn... LOL... I wish someone would do epic fanart of MY pawn XD)

This was actually a test. I had NO intentions of spending hours on this. I was just practicing my male figure drawing... And then WHAM the lineart turns out to be good. And then BAM, the colors look fantastic... And then I thought to myself, "Hmmm.... Maybe I should try out ACTUAL digital painting..." So I combined all the things together that I have learned so far, and this popped out. I POURED MY HEART AND SOUL INTO THIS, BE THANKFUL SAM, SHEESH! The things I do for this pawn, .... sigh.

The title, "Until the End" came about because I was thinking of like an epic (and really difficult) battle... Hmm maybe like the dream I had ... where Grigori was so damn powerful that the pawns were basically useless and I had to do everything myself, but I couldn't even do anything because he was too strong... Mhm! But you know, Sam is always trying to protect me and keep me from danger, so I was thinking for this picture, he's living up to his declaration of being by my side "until the end"!


Also, I livestreamed this, so I'll be making a speed color video soon... Once it's done processing in the storage, cause the videos are sooo long... ; a; And then they're going to take a hella long time rendering in Sony Vegas... Pffff. WELL! I'm glad I got this finished!
